Our Ethos

Holy Trinity church tries to draw on the best of our Anglican traditions. We acknowledge the limitations of using ‘labels’ to describe church ethos, but our worship style might best be described as broad-church and modern catholic. Word and Sacrament are the central aspects of our life together, and the ground upon which all our pastoral work is based. The Eucharist is the central act of worship for us at Holy Trinity Church, and it is celebrated every Sunday, always at 8am, and usually at our main mid-morning service at 10.15am, where our worship includes singing and a congregational setting of parts of the communion service.

The Eucharist is celebrated every Wednesday at 10am in our beautiful Lady Chapel, and also on all Principal Feasts and Festivals of the Church.

Times of daily prayer underpin all that we do together as a Church, and Morning and Evening Prayer are said daily at a short service to which all are welcome.
